James Vargo, MD, FACS

Dr. Jim Vargo is a board-certified plastic surgeon who completed his medical school training at The Ohio State Medical School University College of Medicine before moving to Kansas City where he completed his plastic surgery residency at ​the University of Kansas Medical Center (where he also met Dr. Lauri Vargo). Following residency, he completed a craniofacial surgery fellowship training at the University of Michigan-Michigan Medicine.

He has focused much of his career on complex reconstruction in the pediatric population but is excited to bring his expertise to West Omaha Dermatology. His comprehensive plastic surgery training and experience with delicate facial and reconstructive procedures allow him to approach dermatologic surgery with exceptional attention to both function and aesthetics.

In his spare time, Dr. Vargo loves to be with his family, run, play golf and watch Formula 1.
